Denver – Mayor Michael B. Hancock’s campaign committee today filed its 2014 finance report with the City Clerk’s Office, beginning 2015 with nearly $580,000 cash on hand in advance of the May 5 municipal election. The Hancock for Denver campaign raised $451,000 and spent $129,000 last year. Total fundraising since Jan. 1, 2012, totals $929,000.

“The strong fundraising numbers in this year-end filing show that the people of Denver share the same optimism for Denver’s future that Michael Hancock has for this amazing home of ours,” campaign manager Jake Martin said. “We thank the Mayor’s supporters for their confidence and generosity. Michael loves this place and everyone who lives, works and plays here. He loves serving them every day and he plans to kick off his re-election campaign in the weeks ahead.”
